GET INTO THE MIX

A whole setup.
At your fingertips.

  1. Enable audio, then import your MP3s. Load a track into A or B. Try the demo set first.
  2. Mix: play both decks, adjust EQ and channel levels, then move the crossfader. Sync locks tempo and beat phase until switched off; edit BPM if detection is off. Pitch changes speed and pitch together.
  3. Pitch and levels: use the wide horizontal pitch slider, or enter an exact percentage. Choose ±8%, ±16%, ±50% or the wide range; Reset returns to 0%. Pitch changes speed and musical pitch together. Drag a volume dial up or down; its ring shows the setting and its meter shows the real output signal. Bass, mid and treble sit between the decks. Effects and master controls expand separately.
  4. Workspace: Compact changes the active section’s density; Collapse hides its controls without stopping audio. Tap a track cover to add a local image. In Cues & Stems, the Voodoo People session planner uses points you mark by ear to count back into the next transition. It does not identify drops or vocals automatically.
  5. Perform: set hot cues, tap to jump, double-click a cue to clear it, or use Clear cues. Switch between Cues / Loops and Stem Mixer on each deck. Loop ¼–8 bars with the buttons on each deck; Exit releases the loop. Drag the jog wheel or click a waveform to seek. Snap to bar aligns seeks, cues and sample launches to a 4/4 bar grid based on the track BPM and file start.
  6. Beat Grid: start the grid for a ready-made house beat or toggle its sixteen steps to build a rhythm. Select a drum or Sample 1–8 per row. It follows the audible deck’s BPM, or its own BPM when decks are stopped. Stop grid silences only the grid.
  7. Sample live: press a pad’s Record button to capture the master mix; press Stop recording to save. Tap the large pad to play the sample once; use Re-record to replace it. Choose Deck A or B for a single-deck source. Recording stops at 30 seconds. Previous-beat capture is available under Capture previous bars.
  8. Extract: choose 1, 2 or 4 bars on a loaded deck, then Extract vocals or Extract drums. The isolated phrase loads into a free sample pad. If no stems are loaded, configure the separation service or import stems first.
  9. Stems: demo stems are ready. For your tracks, import four aligned files named vocals, drums, bass and other, or use the included Demucs companion to create them.
  10. Sample editor: Edit a pad to trim its start/end, reverse a selection, adjust volume and trim, or fit a captured loop to the playing deck. Speed is automatically controlled while a deck is playing. Samples start on the next beat and fit to whole beats at the audible deck’s tempo. Sample pads temporarily mute the decks; tracks continue in time and return after the last sample finishes. Beat Grid stays layered over the decks.
  11. Record: start and stop Record mix to download a stereo WAV. Keep the tab open and screen awake.

Keyboard: Space = A play/pause · Enter = B play/pause · Q/W/E/R = A cues · U/I/O/P = B cues · press 1–8 to trigger samples once on the beat. Use the Record buttons to capture samples. Use the Play buttons to trigger samples. Headphone cue uses split mono: cue left, master right, with a suitable splitter. Audio files stay in this browser unless you explicitly send a track to your stem server. Imported tracks and their BPMs are saved in this browser. Enable audio after reloading to restore your deck selections. Samples and imported stems currently clear on reload.

This is an independent browser DJ app, not rekordbox and not affiliated with AlphaTheta. No hardware mapping, key lock or DVS support.

REAL STEM SEPARATION

Take the track apart.

The four mixer stem buttons control separate, synchronised audio streams. Use each stem’s level and Solo controls to blend individual parts. Import prepared stems on either deck, or connect the included Demucs service to separate your own MP3s.

Automatic separation needs a computer running the companion service. It does not run on this hosted page or directly on iPad. An iPad can connect to a reachable HTTPS stem server. Preparation may take several minutes; playback continues while it runs.

The URL and token are held only in this tab. “Create stems” sends the selected MP3 to that server. Use a server you trust. Download the source package for setup instructions.

SAMPLE EDITOR

Shape your sample.

Edits apply immediately to this pad. Reverse replaces the selected audio; reset restores the complete original sample. Save exports your trimmed/reversed WAV at its original speed. Match tempo works on live captures with a known BPM.
