About the site

Lifestyle Weekly is a fictional editorial concept: “The New York Issue”. It reads like a glossy weekend supplement but moves like a film — dinner, culture, after hours, the weekend edit — in numbered chapters.

The idea

Editorial sites either look beautiful or read well; rarely both. This one does both with a single switch: cinematic by default, with a “Switch to reading mode” button for people who just want the words.

What we built, section by section

  1. 01

    New York. Never ordinary.

    The opening.

  2. 02

    At the table

“A little late. A little louder.”

  3. 03

    Culture

    “Outside the frame.”

  4. 04

    After hours

    “The night has other plans.”

  5. 05

    Weekend edit

    “Make room for more.”

  6. 06

    Beyond the avenue

Two short escapes from the city.

  7. 07

    See you out there

    The close, with a weekend-edition pop-up.

Fictional editorial concept — venues and events are imagined.
