About the site

Millionaire’s Mansion is an architectural film concept: a luxury home presented as one continuous film that you control with the scroll. “A life less ordinary.”

The idea

The whole page is a single camera move through the house, broken into five chapters with a 01 / 06 counter. Scroll forward and the film plays; scroll back and it rewinds. There’s a pause control, a replay, and a text version for anyone without JavaScript.

What we built, section by section

  1. 01

    A life less ordinary

    The hero and “Step inside”.

  2. 02

    01 The arrival

    “Presence. Without a word.”

  3. 03

02 At the heart of it all

    “Space to savour.”

  4. 04

    03 Effortless living

    “Let the outside in.”

  5. 05

04 After the sun goes down

    “Your own kind of escape.”

  6. 06

05 A world of your own

    “Exceptional company.”

Features

  • Scroll-controlled film (forwards and backwards)
  • Chapter counter
  • Pause and replay
  • Readable text fallback without JavaScript

Look and feel

Dark slate, cinematic and understated, with a single italic phrase finishing every heading.

Under the bonnet

  • One MP4 film scrubbed by scroll position
  • Hand-coded, no framework
  • Progressive enhancement — works as text without scripts

Like everything I build, it’s made from scratch. No page builder, no theme. So it’s quick, it works on phones first, and it’s easy to change later.
