About the site
Terra is an interiors studio website built around light. “A home shaped by light.” A slow film of a sunlit room opening onto an olive grove plays behind the headline, and the page invites you to explore five interior studies in stone, linen and warm timber.
The idea
Interior design is bought on feeling, so the site leads with atmosphere rather than a portfolio grid: one calm film, one big serif headline, and two clear routes — “Explore our spaces” or “Enquire”. A sun button in the header lets visitors change the light of the page itself.

Warm stone, linen and olive tones under a soft film, with a large classic serif headline and widely spaced capitals — calm, natural and premium.
Under the bonnet
- Hand-coded, no framework
- Background film with an accessible pause control
- Theme switch remembered for the visit
Like everything I build, it’s made from scratch. No page builder, no theme. So it’s quick, it works on phones first, and it’s easy to change later.
